The Indiana Genealogical Society has added several databases to the Members Only area of its website:
African American Records
--African American Residents of Posey County, Indiana (1882)--a listing from a county directory.
College Records
--Autographs of Students of Central Normal College, Danville (1878-1899)--a wonderful resource handed down through the family of CNC graduate D.B. Sherry, this database includes copies of each autograph and biographical information about the various people who made entries in this album.
County Records
-- Selected Tax Lists of Marion County, Indiana (1840-1850)--combines 3 sources from this period.
--Faculty of Wayne County, Indiana (1940)--a listing of all the teachers in the county, courtesy of a school directory.
These are all premium databases, accessible only to IGS members. More databases will be added over time.
