Hendricks County Library To Discuss Family Photos Preservation

Photo preservation and restoration expert Joan Hostetler will present a free program, "Care and Identification of Family Photos," on Saturday, October 6 at Plainfield Public Library in Hendricks County. The program, which begins at 11 am, will show you how to identify, date, preserve and display your heirloom photos. Participants are encouraged to bring interesting, mystery or problem photos for evaluation. Hostetler is a graduate of the George Eastman House International Museum of Photography and received her MFA in imaging arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology. She is the co-owner of Heritage Photo & Research Services, which specializes in local history research, photo preservation and digitization, and archives management.
