Since
I am a new member, I would like to learn how to get started in using the databases
to search for information on my ancestors. I do know that the name
"Achgill" is at least 2 to 3 generations old. I also know that
some of my ancestors came from Germany or Eastern Europe.
My
Grandfather, Edward Daniel Achgill was adopted by Christian and Carolina
Achgill. That is where I lose his information. He used to tell us
he came from Germany. His birthdate is 1884. Can anyone tell me how
