IGS Adds Civilian Conservation Corps Rosters for Northeastern Indiana To Members-Only

The Indiana Genealogical Society has added Civilian Conservation Corps rosters for 3 counties in northeastern Indiana to the County Records section of our Members Only area:

--Roster of Civilian Conservation Corps, Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana (1938)
--Roster of Civilian Conservation Corps, Lagro, Wabash County, Indiana (1938)
--Roster of Civilian Conservation Corps, Bluffton, Wells County, Indiana (1938)

The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) was a New Deal employment program that operated from 1933 to 1942. The aim, besides work relief, was to promote tree planting, park construction, flood control, forest fire prevention and similar environmental tasks. The United States and Indiana had numerous CCC companies.

These are premium databases, accessible only to IGS members.

The Indiana Genealogical Society now has 917 databases in the Members Only area. Each of Indiana's 92 counties has at least 3 databases.
