The Elkhart County Genealogical Society is offering a free class on how to begin to research your family history on Saturday, September 20 from 10 am to 3 pm. The class will be held at the Elkhart County Historical Museum in Bristol and participants may bring their own lunch or visit one of the area restaurants. The class will cover basic techniques for researching and genealogy software will be discussed, as well as free online resources. A follow-up class on Saturday, September 27 will focus on solving problems and getting access to fee-based websites.
