Marion County Genealogy Society and Indiana Historical Society Offer Irish Research Seminar

The Genealogical Society of Marion County, in conjunction with the Indiana Historical Society, are offering an Irish and Scots-Irish Family Research Seminar on Saturday, March 23 at the Frank and Katrina Basile Theater of the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center in Indianapolis. The seminar is from 9 am to 4:30 pm and the speakers will be Fintan Mullan and Brian Trainor, who are known collectively as "The Ulster Guys." The seminar will include sessions on emigration and church records.

Registration for the seminar (which includes free parking, and same-day admission to the Indiana Experience), is $28 for GSMC and IHS members, $35 for non-members. Lunch is optional - $12 for a potato bar with all the toppings. Indiana librarians are eligible to receive 7 general LEU credits.
