The Indiana Genealogical Society thanks the Michigan Genealogical Council in Lansing, Michigan for their $50 donation to our War of 1812 $10,000 Matching Challenge. Coupled with IGS' match, their donation means 200 more pages of pension files will be digitized!
In this challenge - which is in support of the Federation of Genealogical Societies' effort to digitize the War of 1812 pension files at the National Archives and make them available online for free - the Indiana Genealogical Society will MATCH any donation made before June 30, 2011, up to the first $10,000.
