My 4th gr grandparents, Reuben & Joanna (Gilbert) Wright were both born in VA in 1779. In about 1819, they moved to Greene Co. OH where they lived for about 10 years & worked with the Methodist-Episcopal denomination in the Caesar's Creek area of Greene Co. In about 1830, they moved to IN & lived in the Henry, Rush & Wayne Counties area until both died in the early 1850s. Reuben was a minister in the M-E church in Knightstown in 1850. The children that I have found so far are: Rebecca (Stoddard & McClay), David Gerrard (Nibarger/Neibarger, Hancock Co.), James Gilbert (McComas, moved to Clark Co.IL) & Margaret (Thos B. Miller, Hancock Co). I have been researching this family for years & would really appreciate some help in locating more info. I am from the James Gilbert Wright/Lucinda McComas Wright line. Anything would be welcome.
