Query: My grandmother, Susan Augusta Randall, was born 5 November 1880 in Logansport, Cass County, Indiana. I am interested in a Randall family in the 1870 and 1880 censuses for Logansport, Cass County:
Charles H. Randall (born about 1830 in New Hampshire) married Augusta or Augustus (born about 1841 in Massachusetts) and had children:
--Mary J. (born about 1860 in Massachusetts; died after 1870)
--Charles A. (born about 1873 in Indiana; died after 1880)
--Hattie J. (born about 1875 in Indiana)
According to the death index for Cass County, Charles H. Randall died 4 December 1881 in Logansport, age 52.
I am looking for any information on the maiden name of Augusta/Augustus who married Charles H. Randall. I'm also interested in finding out what happened to his daughter Mary J. Randall--did she die or marry? Perhaps she was born in Indiana and not Massachusetts. I'd also like to find out who are the parents of Charles H. Randall and find any property deeds.
