New Databases: Bartholomew, Brown, Harrison, Rush & Washington Counties

It is still cold outside, but you can heat up your genealogy research with these new databases on the Indiana Genealogical Society website:

Free Databases:

Graduates of Raleigh High School, Rush County, Indiana (1904):
Browsable digital images of the school’s 1904 commencement program. These images were donated by Wayne Klusman.

Teachers of Raleigh High School, Rush County, Indiana (1904):
Browsable digital images of the school’s 1904 commencement program. These images were donated by Wayne Klusman.

Owners of Cave River Valley Park, Campbellsburg, Washington County, Indiana (1948):
Browsable digital images of the land deeds and articles of incorporation for a privately-owned park geared towards cave exploration. These images were donated by Michele Dutcher.

Bartholomew County:
- Residents of Bartholomew County, Indiana Who Died in World War II (1940-1946)
Searchable digital images of the military details of all Bartholomew County soldiers who died between November 18, 1940 (the date of the first draft) and January 31, 1946 (the end date specified by the War Department). Details include the soldier’s birthdate, birthplace, parents’ names, spouse and children and place of burial. This database was contributed by Ron Darrah.

Brown County:
- Residents of Brown County, Indiana Who Died in World War II (1940-1946)
Searchable digital images of the military details of all Bartholomew County soldiers who died between November 18, 1940 (the date of the first draft) and January 31, 1946 (the end date specified by the War Department). - Index to Mortality Schedule for Harrison County, Indiana (1860)
An index of 225 people who died between June 1859 and May 1860. The index includes their age, sex, birthplace and month of death, as well as the enumeration and page number their entry can be found on.
