FamilySearch Announces Immigration & Naturalization Records Indexing Project

With the 1940 census indexing project heading for completion, FamilySearch is already planning its next great indexing initiative - U.S. immigration and naturalization records. Volunteers willing to do some indexing and/or arbitrating are being sought to work on digitized immigration records and naturalization records covering the 1800's up to the 1950's. These records include passenger lists for the major U.S. ports such as Philadelphia, New York, Boston and New Orleans.
