IGS To Hold Seminar on Preservation

In conjunction with its April 10 conference at the Allen County Public Library, the Indiana Genealogical Society will be holding a seminar at the library on Friday, April 9 from 9 am to 4 pm. The theme of the seminar will be "Preservation From The Bottom Up," with sessions on:

--Preservation at the Personal Level - by Shirley Fields, Treasurer, Indiana Genealogical Society
--Preservation at the Local Society Level - by Margery Graham, Northeast Director, Indiana Genealogical Society
--Preservation at the County Level - by Erin Coffman and Shirley Fields, Hendricks County Probate Records Project
--Preservation at the Archive Level - by Steve McShane, Archivist, Calumet Archives and Marlene Polster, Chicago Title Project

Librarians will receive up to 4 LEUs for attending the seminar.

Pre-registration is $5 (registration will be $7 at the door if seating is still available). Attendees who are members of IGS chapters or are an appointed Indiana County Genealogist (ICG) will receive free registration.
