About 1853 or so my great-great-grandfather, Michael Beegan, was the city clerk for Lafayette in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. Other names in the family were Blount and Meehan. They were also connected to St. Mary's Church. Do any of these names "ring a bell" with anybody? Thanks.
