New Databases: Franklin, Knox, Wabash and Wayne Counties, and More

The weather has been frightful lately, but that hasn't stopped us from adding even more databases to the IGS website. Check out these latest additions:

Free Database:

Graduates of Boston High School, Wayne County, Indiana (1928)
Browseable digital images of the school’s 1928 commencement program. These images were donated by Wayne Klusman.

Members-Only Databases:

IGS members can access these resources when they log in. Not a member? Join now!

- Students of Brookville High School, Franklin County, Indiana (1948)
350 students as listed in the school’s 1948 yearbook, The Brooklet. The yearbook includes information on grades 7-12.

Knox County:
- Members of Maria Creek Baptist Church, Knox County, Indiana (1809-1888)
800 members of one of the oldest Baptist churches in Indiana, as listed in an 1889 history of the church. This database includes the date they joined.

Wabash County:
- Students of Wabash High School, Wabash County, Indiana (1928)
Searchable digital images from the school’s 1928 yearbook, The Sycamore. The yearbook includes information on grades 9-12. This database was contributed by Ron Darrah.

- Teachers of Wabash High School, Wabash County, Indiana (1928)
Searchable digital images from the school’s 1928 yearbook, The Sycamore. The yearbook includes information on grades 9-12. This database was contributed by Ron Darrah.

University of Notre Dame
- Graduates of University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame (1913-1920)
675 young men (ranging from across the United States to Ireland, South America and the Philippines), as extracted from the university’s annual catalogs for the 1913-1914 through the 1920-1921 school years. This database also includes the year they graduated and the degree they earned.

Military (Statewide):
- Combat Casualties of Indiana Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard Soldiers in World War II (1941-1945)
Searchable digital images of the military details of all Indiana soldiers in the Navy, Marines and Coast Guard who were either wounded or died in combat during World War II, as listed in a Navy report. Details include the name and residence of the soldier’s next of kin. This database was contributed by Ron Darrah.
