Query: HULTQVIST of La Porte

I am looking for any information about my relative Carl August Hultqvist who moved to Indiana from Sweden in 1883.  He was born in Vrigstad socken, SmÃ¥land, Sweden on March 23 1861. By the time he left Sweden he was resident in Sävsjö. He left from Gothenburg port on March 30 1883 and he was going to La Porte Indiana. Charles A. Hultqvist had ten siblings, another one of them moved to America, to Texas. I have spent some months in finding information about all the siblings and Charles A. is the one I have left. Is there perhaps any living relatives to him in La Porte or elsewhere in America?
.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Query: REYNOLDS /RUNNELLS/BARTON/WHITE

My 2-G grandfather, William Barton Reynolds (b.20 Jun 1820 d. 1882) and his brother Isaac Wilson Reynolds (b. 30 Jan 1810 d. 18 Jan 1855) both list their birthplace as Indiana in the censuses of 1850 and 1860, although they both lived most of their lives in Tennessee.  Y-DNA tests for living male descandants of these men show that they are very closely related to persons with the Stephens surname.  Their putative father, William Reynolds (b.25 Feb 1780 d. 1828)or Runnells, was married first to a Sarah Barton (b. 9 Mar 1787 or 88 d. 7 Jan 1822)and second to a Sarah White (dates unknown). I believe that William B. and Isaac may have been adoptees although their father may have been the adoptee.

Query: FERRIS/McCORMICK/McCORMACK of Howard County

I am trying to find information about Michael W. FERRIS (born about 1859 in New Jersey) or his daughter Cecilia FERRIS. Michael W. Ferris (age 25) and Mary Agnes McCormick (age 19) were married on November 24, 1884 in Ohio County, West Virginia. According to a WPA birth index, their daughter Cecilia Ferris was born on April 8, 1895 in Howard County, Indiana.  Cecilia, her siblings and her mother Agnes Ferris (but not her father Michael) are in the 1900 census in Wheeling, Ohio County, West Virginia, then in the 1910 and 1920 censuses in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. There is also a family rumor that Michael left the family in West Virginia sometime around 1908-1910 and he might have come back to Indiana.

I am looking for information on my grandfather's family. My mother and her siblings do not know who their grandparents are. I was told their father and his sister lived in an orphanage in Indiana. Their names are listed below. My grandfather believed his last name to be "Lutes" until he enlisted in the Army and the officials told him that it was "Hartman". There is believed to be another sibling by the name of Richard, but I do not have any information on him.

Robert Lawrence Hartman (my mother's father)

Viola Lutes (my mother's aunt)

Both Robert and Viola moved to Missouri and died in Missouri. Viola had no children but Robert had 6 children.

Thank you in advance for any assistance!
