Query: McPHERSON/ALEXANDER/DUBIN of Tiptopn

I'm looking for proof of birth for a James W. McPHERSON, born May, 1862 in Tipton, Indiana. His parents were John W. McPHERSON and Mary Ellen ALEXANDER. John W. McPHERSON may be the same person that enlisted in the Civil War in Tipton, Indiana in August, 1862. James married Emma Estella DURBIN in November, 1898.
