I am trying to find evidence of my Great Grandfather, Simon Gavagan. I have a newspaper article indicating his brother, Thomas Gavagan,b. abt 1835, lived in Veale, Daviess, Indiana, United States and confirmed in the 1860 census, along with a Bridget (age 60)(speculation, mother) and children, Bartlay and Ann. Simon married into the Hanning family that was based in Owensboro, Daviess county, KY.
