At its annual conference on April 25th, the Indiana Genealogical Society announced that it had awarded the following grants:
--a Cemetery Restoration Grant to Kosciusko County Historical Society for its ongoing restoration of Syracuse Cemetery
--a Resource Development Grant to Northwest Indiana Genealogical Society for its publication, "Lake County Estate Inventory, 1914-1923"
--a Resource Development Grant to Wabash Valley Genealogy Society for its "Vigo County Historic Records Preservation Project"
The grants are for $500 each. The application deadline is December 31, 2009. Visit the Grants section of the IGS website for more information.
