IGS Adds Newsletter to Members-Only

The February 2009 issue of the Indiana Genealogical Society's newsletter is now available in the Members-Only section of the IGS website. This is the first issue of the newsletter since it went electronic, and it features e-mail addresses and websites that you can click on, as well as a clickable Table of Contents on the front page.

We invite you to click on the "comments" link at the end of this post and let us know what you think about the new format.

  1. I enjoyed the first electronic edition of the newsletter; good job. I would like to suggest a change in format that would make for easier reading, if possible. If the format could be changed to a single column rather than the two column format, it would eliminate the need to scroll down the first column, then back up again to read the next column.
Also, I believe it would be better to finish an article rather than continue it on to another page as may be necessary for a published version.

  2. I was not aware the newsletter went to electronic until I tried to find an address in a recent edition. When I found I didn't have a recent edition, I went to the IGS website and saw that it is now electronic.

Is it possible to send a mass e-mail to those who have e-mails indicating the latest edition is now available? Sure would help!

The electronic version looks good. Good move!
