The Tri-County Genealogical Society, which represents Decatur, Franklin and Ripley counties, is sponsoring a Research Lock-In on Friday, May 16, 2008 from 5 to 11 pm at the Batesville Memorial Public Library in Ripley County. Researchers must be in the library before it closes at 5 pm and may stay until 11 pm.
Society members will be on hand to assist researchers in locating materials. The Batesville library has resources covering Franklin, Decatur, Ripley, and Dearborn counties. Please call ahead to reserve computer time. For more information, contact Marjorie Weiler-Powell--phone (812) 933-0846.
