I am looking for the date of death and place of burial of Joshua Wilkinson Dawson and his wife Mary. They died about 1856 in Greene County, Indiana. One of their children was Helen Dawson, who was born September 29, 1836 in Ohio. Helen married John Cullen Ferguson on September 1, 1864 in Greene County, Indiana--Helen and John were my great-grandparents. I hope to hear from someone.

ReplyDeleteHave you had any luck finding the place of burial for Joshua and Mary Dawson? We have been looking for that as well. My mother remembers going there as a young girl with her Uncle Sam Crabbe; however, we have been unable to locate it. We have a receipt for a headstone from about the time of their deaths that my mother believes is for their stone.
