He married Sarah Elizabeth Royce in Fredericksburg on 27 May 1819. He is listed in the 1850 census in Jackson Township, Washington County, Indiana. His parents were possibly Jacob Spicer Horner (1773-1872) & Rebecca Ann Eastlack (1776-1811).
