IGS Welcomes Quarterly Editor

The Indiana Genealogical Society welcomes Rebecca Tomerlin of Valparaiso as editor of our quarterly publication, Indiana Genealogist.

As a Systems Librarian for the Porter County Library, Rebecca maintains the library's website and databases using a variety of software. She has also worked in their genealogy department, giving her plenty of experience with creating databases and abstracting records.

She has been working on her own genealogy since she was eleven years old. She is now working on her husband's side, which has given her the opportunity to work with records around the state.

She holds an Associate of Science from College of Lake County, Illinois, a Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University, and a Master of Science from Drexel University.
