IGS Adds Indianapolis Funeral Home Database To African-American Records

The Indiana Genealogical Society has added another database to the African-American Records section of Members Only:

Marion County
--Records of Jacob Brothers Funeral Home, Indianapolis (1943-1956)

This database contains digital files of the funeral home's records. It is a collaboration between the Indiana Genealogical Society, the Allen County Public Library's Genealogy Center and the Indiana African American Genealogy Group.

The database is free to the public--no member login is required in order to view it.

The Indiana Genealogical Society has 326 databases in the Members Only area, covering 70 Indiana counties. More databases will be added over time.
