IGS Adds Blackford County Database To Members-Only

The Indiana Genealogical Society has added a database for Blackford County to the County Records section of its Members Only area:

--Licensed Teachers of Blackford County, Indiana (1888-1889)--This data comes from an annual report (found in the Indiana State Archives) that was submitted to the State Superintendent of Public Instruction of all the individuals that were licensed to teach in Blackford County from May 1888 to May 1889. The database includes the teacher's post office address and when their license started.

This is a premium database, accessible only to IGS members. It is part of the 2 for 92 Project, where IGS will develop a minimum of two genealogical databases for each of the 92 counties in Indiana and post them to the Members Only area.
