Terre Haute Genealogical Society To Discuss Native American Research

The Wabash Valley Genealogy Society will meet on Monday, June 10 from 6:15 to 8:30 pm at the Vigo County Public Library in Terre Haute. Charles G. Hill, the reference librarian of the Indiana State Library's Genealogy Collection, will present a program, "Is There an Indian Princess in Your Family? An Introduction to Native American Research." The program will focus on the resources available at the Indiana State Library, the Indiana Historical Bureau and other venues as the National Archives, the Family History Library in Salt Lake City and the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne.

The program is free and open to the public - the doors will open at 5:45 pm. The program will be held in the library's lower level conference room.
