Southern Indiana Genealogical Society To Discuss Free Online Resources

The Southern Indiana Genealogical Society will meet on Thursday, July 3 at 7 pm in the Strassweg Auditorium of the New Albany-Floyd County Public Library (180 W. Spring St., New Albany, IN). The theme of the meeting is "Kaleidoscope Genealogy," and there will be 3 short classes offered:

  • "Starting Your Genealogical Research" - strategies for beginning family history work, led by Norma Lincoln
  • "Citing Your Sources” - the how-to’s of proper documentation
  • "Free Online Research Resources" - a look at free websites for genealogy, led by Donna Foster
