German Genealogy Group To Hold Fall Workshop in Indianapolis

The Indiana Chapter of Palatines to America will hold their fall workshop on Saturday, September 27 from 9:30 am to 3 pm at the Athenaeum in Indianapolis (401 E. Michigan St.). The featured speakers will be Alexa and Frank Merrill, directors of the Family History Center in Fishers. They will give 3 presentations on how FamilySearch can help you in your German genealogy research:

  • FamilySearch - General Search Tips, Database Information & Wiki (focusing on German resources)
  • FamilySearch FamilyTree
  • FamilySearch Q&A - an open-ended opportunity for those attending to ask specific questions about various features of FamilySearch

Registration is $15 for Pal-Am members, $20 for non-members, and does not include lunch. LEU credits will be available for Indiana librarians. For more information, including how to register, please download the registration flyer (PDF format).
