I am looking for info on my great grandfather John H
Chatman. What I do know for sure is his
wife was Elizabeth Smelser. They had a son, George H Chatman, born in Dec 1867
in Tipton, IN, and there is a marriage record for a John and Elizabeth Chapman
in Sept 1860, but cannot be sure. No other record of them. I have tried Ancestry.com,
FamilySearch, Tipton Lib. No luck; can
anyone help?
