A new Biby-Bybee Y-DNA surname project has been started. It reveals genealogical connections previously unknown. Descendants of early Indiana settlers are invited to join, particularly candidates from the following families:

LEE BYBEE (1780-1852), to CLAY CO. by 1830. Sons: Absalom A. 1808, Alfred 1810, John c1811, Lee 1819, and Bluford A. 1840.
JOHN BYBEE (c1790-1867), to KOSCIUSKO CO. by 1840. Sons: Washington 1809, Joseph 1811, John 1813, George 1815, Pleasant 1819, Nathan 1820, and Wesley 1826.
BYRAM LEE BYBEE (1799-1864), to CLAY CO. by 1840. Sons: John M. 1829, David B. 1832, Robert L. 1838, and Byram L. 1841.
ALLEN BYBEE (1798-1846), to HARRISON CO. by 1840. Sons: James M. 1827, Alfred K. 1828, and William 1833.
MICAJAH BIBY (c1813-after 1860), to BARTHOLOMEW CO. by 1850. Sons: John F. c1839, Thomas M. c1846, Andrew c1857, and Joseph W. c1860.
