Donations Needed for Owen County Archives

The Owen County Historical and Genealogical Society (http://www.owen.in.us/owenhist/owen.htm) is continuing their efforts to set up an archives for Owen County's records, which might otherwise be inaccessible to the public. They have rented space in the post office building in Spencer, Indiana (across from the Owen County courthouse) and are planning to digitize some of the old records. Donations of money or equipment (such as scanners to do legal-size documents) are still needed. If you would like to support their efforts, please send your donations to:

OCHGS--Old Records Fund
P.O. Box 569
Spencer, IN 47460
