Brown County Genealogical Society & Library Partner To Provide Ancestry.com Access

In partnership with the Brown County Genealogical Society, the Brown County Public Library in Nashville now provides access to Ancestry.com Library Edition for its patrons. You can access Ancestry Library Edition using one of the library's public computers, or with your own laptop or mobile device while within the library.

To learn how to use the Ancestry.com Library Edition, you may attend free workshops at the library, which will be held on Tuesdays (March 5, 12, 19 & 26) from 1 to 3 pm and on Thursdays (March 7, 14 & 21) from 6 to 8 pm. Diana Biddle, Brown County Historian and Genealogist, will be available to assist you in learning to use the site, as well as offer advice on where and how to search Ancestry.com's databases. Additional local genealogy researchers will also be available as time permits.

For additional assistance in researching your family history, you can come to the Brown County Genealogical Society's next meeting on Tuesday, February 12 at 6 pm at the Brown County Public Library.

Questions? Please contact Diana Biddle (dlynbid@gmail.com).
