Indiana State Library Hosts Digital Preservation Workshop for Professionals

The Indiana State Historic Records Advisory Board (SHRAB) is offering a free workshop on digital preservation on Thursday, May 31 at the Indiana State Library in Indianapolis. The workshop will be held from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and is geared towards volunteers and professionals who are responsible for managing and preserving digital records, such as those who work for societies, libraries and museums, as well as government employees. The workshop is intended for those who have little to no knowledge of digital preservation - it will provide a basic overview and an introduction to resources. Indiana library staff can receive LEU credits for attending.

This is a free workshop and a complementary lunch will be provided - to register, or for more information, visit the SHRAB conference site, or contact Stephanie Gowler - phone (317) 591-5220 ext. 376.
