Grouseland Foundation To Discuss Vincennes French Heritage

The First Families - Heritage Education Outreach of Grouseland Foundation will meet on Thursday, May 3 from 6:30 to 8 pm at the Francis Vigo DAR Chapter House in Vincennes (30 W. Harrison). Bob Dora, author of "Along the Wabash: Dora Family History Leads Back to Indiana's Earliest Recorded European Settlers," (published in the Fall/Winter 2010 issue of Connections - The Hoosier Genealogist) will discuss his research into his pioneer French ancestry in Vincennes and the fascinating stories he discovered. The meeting is free and open to the public.
