IGS Adds Databases To Members-Only

The Indiana Genealogical Society has added several databases to the Members Only area of its website:

Church Records
--Ministers of Indiana Diocese, Episcopal Church (1888)--a listing of Episcopal clergy as found in an annual journal.

College Records
--Faculty of DePauw University, Greencastle (1899)--a listing of teachers as found in a school yearbook.

--Students of Indianapolis College of Pharmacy, Indianapolis (1940-1943)--a listing of students as found in the Mistura yearbook for 1940. The Indianapolis College of Pharmacy later became part of Butler University.

County Records
--School Enumeration of Union Township, Adams County, Indiana (1853)--this database comes from an enumeration done in September 1853. The purpose of the enumeration was to record how many children in a family were attending school. The enumeration was found in the Indiana State Archives.

This database was contributed by Ron Darrah and is part of the 2 for 92 Project, where IGS will develop a minimum of two genealogical databases for each of the 92 counties in Indiana and post them to the Members Only area.

Military Records
--Revolutionary War Veterans Living In Indiana Who Were Denied Pensions (1839)--a listing as found in a Congressional document.

Miscellaneous Records
--Lawyers in Indiana State Bar Association (1912)--a listing of all members of the State Bar in 1912. This database also includes memorials for members who had died within the year.

These are all premium databases, accessible only to IGS members. The Indiana Genealogical Society now has over 175 databases in the Members Only area of its website. More databases will be added over time.
