Query: Robert Winchell, Fayette/Orange Counties

Good morning: I am the “keeper” of the Winchell Family Tree here in Nebraska. I wonder if you can assist me in finding out information about Robert Samuel Winchell who is my fourth great-grandfather.. Here is what I know:
Robert Samuel Winchell was born approximately 1765. The actual birth date and names of Robert’s parents are unknown. It is felt that Robert’s ancestry traces back to Robert Winchell, from England,  who settled in Connecticut in the 1640’s. Robert married Susannah Ruth Hart on June 3, 1788, at Dutch Reformed Church, Schaghitoke, Rennsselaer County, New York.
Census records of 1790, 1800, and 1810 indicate Robert and Susannah lived in New York. Four daughters, Louisa, Phebe, Waitie, and Susan, and four sons, George, Robert Jr, Richard and Alpheus, were born to this marriage. In 1814 they traveled to Indiana by covered wagon. Also accompanying them was Catherine Wheeler with her three sons. Robert and Susannah settled in Columbia Township, Fayette County, IN.
Robert homesteaded in Orange County, IN, in 1814. Their home was west of Columbia on what later became known as the Utter place. Susannah died before 1817, Columbia Township, Fayette County, Indiana. She was buried in a plot in a field across from the house. Robert married Catherine Wheeler, April  5, 1817, in Brookville, IN. Upon his death, he was also buried in the same place across from the house.
I am trying to find out who Robert’s parents were, and, so my question is: based on the information above, do you think you could help me figure out the parents of Robert?
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
