The Indiana Genealogical Society has added the March 2012 issue of Indiana Genealogist, the society's quarterly publication, to the IGS Records section of Members Only.
This issue includes:
--a feature article by author and BYU professor Roger P. Minert on the history of German churches in Indiana
--an "IN-GENious" column by Bryna O'Sullivan on the veterans schedules that survived from the destruction of the 1890 census
--a sketch by Dawne Slater-Putt of an early African-American family in Washington County
--"Always A Hoosier" entries
--the final installment of coroner inquest reports from Decatur County
As in every issue, there are also brief items from every region of the state.
The quarterly is a premium database, accessible only to IGS members.
