IGS Adds Databases To Members-Only

The Indiana Genealogical Society has added several databases to the Members Only area of its website:

County Records
--Directory of Zionsville, Boone County, Indiana (1937)--a listing of the businesses and residents, as found in a city directory for 1937.

--Directory of Zionsville, Boone County, Indiana (1940)--a listing of the businesses and residents, as found in a city directory for 1940.

--Directory of Zionsville, Boone County, Indiana (1961)--a listing of the businesses and residents, as found in a city directory for 1961.

NOTE: These databases were submitted by Beth Kielb of the SullivanMunce Cultural Center for the 2 for 92 Project, where IGS is committed to adding a minimum of two genealogical databases for each of Indiana's 92 counties.

--Records of Funderburg Funeral Home, Markle, Huntington County, Indiana (1909-1976)--abstracts from original records of the funeral home (the records are scattered for this time period).

NOTE: These databases were submitted by Joan Keefer and the Huntington City-Township Public Library for the 2 for 92 Project.

--Students of Kokomo High School, Howard County, Indiana (1931)--a listing of the students, as found in a 1931 yearbook.

--Directory of Businesses in Parke County, Indiana (1868)--a listing of business owners in various towns in Parke County, as found in a railroad and shipping directory for the state.

--Directory of Businesses in Pulaski County, Indiana (1868)--a listing of business owners in various towns in Pulaski County, as found in a railroad and shipping directory for the state.

These are all premium databases, accessible only to IGS members. The Indiana Genealogical Society has 255 databases in the Members Only area, covering 55 Indiana counties. More databases will be added over time.
