The Indiana State Archives has a new website for Indiana research. Located at www.indianadigitalarchives.org, the new site currently has about a dozen searchable databases.
Although still a rudimentary resource and at present without any images, the site has great growth potential. Researchers are encouraged to check out this resource periodically to look for changes and additions. Congratulations to Archives manager Alan January, his staff and volunteers for getting this new site up and running.
We do not know if databases that are currently on the State Archives site or the State Library site will be migrated to this new site, but hopefully that will be in future plans.
