State Library to Discuss Last African-American Settlement

The Indiana State Library in Indianapolis will host a program about Lyles Station on Wednesday, June 3 from noon to 1 pm in their Indiana Author's Room. Rachael Heger, Supervisor Indiana Collection Division, will give a presentation about the legacy of the Lyles family of Gibson County. The presentation will discuss the inception of Lyles Station in 1886 to the devastasting flood in 1913, to the renovation of the historic schoolhouse in 2003.
