Clinton County Library to Discuss Cemetery Symbols

The Frankfort Community Public Library in Frankfort will hold a presentation, "Symbolism in Cemeteries," on Tuesday, May 5 from noon to 1 pm. Genealogist Tami Pelling will give a photographic presentation explaining various tombstones symbols found in cemeteries in and around Clinton County--everything from angels and anchors to urns and willow trees. This presentation is part of the library's "Brown Bag Lunch" program and attendees are invited to bring a sack lunch or try Harry's soup. For additional information, please contact Tami Pelling directly at fayettefiles@yahoo.com or visit the library's website.
