The St. Joseph County Public Library, in collaboration with the South Bend Area Genealogical Society, will present two free lectures by DNA expert Roberta Estes on Saturday, April 12 in the library's Colfax Auditorium (located on Main Street in South Bend). In the first session, "DNA and Genealogy Introduction," at 10:30 am, Estes will discuss the types of DNA testing that are available and how these tests can serve genealogy researchers. The second session, "Yikes, My Results Are Back! Now What?", will begin at 1:30 pm. In it, Estes will cover how to interpret DNA test results for both Y-line and mitochondrial DNA.

These sessions are free but you must reserve your seat - to reserve your seat, visit www.libraryforlife.org or call (574) 282-4621.
