German Research Workshop Offered in Indianapolis

The Indiana Chapter, Palatines to America will hold their spring workshop and annual meeting on Saturday, April 20 at the Athenaeum in Indianapolis. Dr. Michael D. Lacopo will present sessions on: 1) methods of identifying German origins of American immigrants; 2) incorporating social history into your German research; 3) how to overcome brick wall problems in German-American research. Dr. Lacopo will also provide translations of German documents, so attendees are encouraged to bring a copy of their original documents.

Registration for the workshop is $15 for Pal-Am members, $20 for non-members. Lunch is on your own, in the Rathskeller. LEU credits will be available for Indiana librarians. Parking is available in the Athenaeum's parking lot, on the east side of the building (entrance from Michigan St.— one way going west). Tokens for the parking will be available at the meeting for $1.

For more information, including a schedule of events and how to register, visit www.palam.org or e-mail IndianaPalAm@gmail.com.
