African American Group To Hold Conference in Indianapolis

The Indiana Afrian American Genealogy Group will hold their annual genealogy conference on Saturday, October 8 from 9 am to 4 pm at the Eiteljorg Musem in Indianapolis. The theme of the conference is "The Past Comes Alive," and J. Mark Lowe will be the keynote speaker. Conference topics will include using social media, finding female ancestors, and finding Kentucky ancestors.

Early registration is $25 for IAAGG members, $35 for non-members, and must be made before August 8. The IAAGG member rate is also being extended to Genealogical Society of Marion County members. Registration is available on the IAAGG website.
