Wendel Daniel Groves, Wendell D. Groves or Wendel Grove was born in Indiana we believe. He married Sarah Jane Hodson in 1847 in Ripley County, Indiana. I can't find anything about Wendel's (Wendle) parents or Sarah Jane's parents. I know Wendel and Sarah Jane were living in Russiaville, Honey Creek Township, Howard County, Indiana in 1860. Wendel is listed in multiple places in the book RUSSIAVILLE and the CIVIL WAR. They eventually resettled in Bois d'arc, Butler County, Kansas. Does anyone know how to find who their parents were?
