The Shelby County Genealogical Society will meet this Saturday, October 16th at 10 am at the Blue River Community Foundation building (54 W. Broadway, Shelbyville). The meeting is open to the public and guests are welcome.

Shelbyville To Host GenFest 2009

GenFest, an annual gathering of researchers, will be held June 12-14 in Shelbyville. There will be a cemetery tour and the Shelby County Genealogical Society will be among those open for research. There will also be displays from vendors. There is no cost to attend but registration is required. Shelby County Society to Tour Cemetery

The Shelby County Genealogical Society (P.O. Box 434, Shelbyville IN 46176) will have a tour of Forest Hill Cemetery (located on Morris Ave. in Shelbyville) on June 16 at 11 am. The tour will be led by superintendent John Scudder. The cemetery tour will be preceded by a meeting of the society at 10 am in the Blue River Foundation Building (54 W. Broadway, Shelbyville IN). The public is invited to attend both events.
