South Bend Area Genealogical Society To Discuss Swedish Immigration to Area

The South Bend Area Genealogical Society will hold their annual dinner on Monday, October 27 at 7 pm at the Sunnyside Presbyterian Church in South Bend (115 S. Francis St., South Bend IN). Jim Nelson, who holds a PhD in Scandinavian studies, will present a program about the history of Swedish immigration to Indiana and Michiana. A Swedish dinner will be served prior to the program - the dinner is $15 per person and reservations are required.
