We are researching our family history and have come to a
halt. We know that Robert Smith and Cassandra Johnson were married in
Jeffersonville, Clark Co, IN, on 06 Dec 1830. We believe that they were Presbyterian
and wondered if you might have any information on them.
We
know that Cassandra was born in NC and Robert in PA or VA, but we have no
indication of parents etc. Robert and Cassandra had John C. b. 1834, Thos.
b. 1837, Mary E. b. 1838, Cassandra b. 1842 in KY and Jacob K. b.
1849. We also know that Robert was a ships carpenter. I would
appreciate any help you can give us,
