Query: THOMPSON/LANGDON/SMITH of Spencer County

I’m seeking information on Maria Alice THOMPSON born 1854 in either Dales or Rockport, IN. She may have married named with a surname of LANGDON abt 1870. Maria Alice gave birth to a male child in 1874 – possibly named Walter. From 1881 until her death she lived in Yorkshire, England with a man named Alfred SMITH. She gave birth to their daughter Ethal in 1885 in Scarborough, England. I’ve been searching for years for any clue about this lady & her American family but I’ve found nothing.
