I am interested in learning more about former Indiana Commissioner V.M. SIMMONS who served in the State of Indiana Conservation Department in 1938. He visited and was entertained by my grandfather here in Texas on several hunting and fishing trips. His thank you letters were written on state stationary, so I assume he was here representing the state of Indiana. I would like to learn more about the story. I have reason to also believe that Governor M. Clifford Townsend was on this trip.
Sincerely,
